Unable to Progress Past “Connect the Joy-Con Controllers Wirelessly” Message
The message “Let’s connect the Joy-Con controllers wirelessly” appears on the screen, and you are unable to progress past that point.
Additional Information
This message indicates that the software is waiting for you to use the Joy-Con controllers with your Nintendo LABO creation.
Complete These Steps:
Remove the Nintendo Joy-Con controller(s) from the Nintendo Switch console, as directed by the message.
You may need to remove one specific Joy-Con, or both.
When you remove the Joy-Con, the screen should show the console and controllers communicating together.
If there is no change on the screen when you remove the Joy-Con controllers, reattach them to the console and then remove them again.
Follow the onscreen instructions to place the Joy-Con correctly to use with your Nintendo LABO creation.
For example - if you’re using the Nintendo LABO House Pack, you will be directed to slide the right Joy-Con into the chimney.
Situation Not Resolved:
If the message persists when you remove the Nintendo Joy-Con controller(s), there may be an issue with the system.
