Nintendo eShop Receipt Email Did Not Arrive

The information in this article can help when you have not received the email receipt for your Nintendo eShop purchase.


  • Email receipts are only sent for purchases made with a Nintendo Account (Nintendo Switch, Online Store) or with a Nintendo Network ID (NNID) that has been linked to a Nintendo Account (Wii U, Nintendo 3DS).

  • For a history of purchases made with a Nintendo Network ID only, please see the Account Activity on your Wii U or the Account Activity on your Nintendo 3DS family system.

Possible solutions

  • Make sure you've waited long enough. Emails usually arrive within 1-2 hours.

  • Check your spam/junk email folder to see if the email is there.

  • Make sure there are no filters in your email account that may be blocking emails from

  • Check your Nintendo Account profile settings to verify the email address.

    • The receipt is sent to the email address associated with the Nintendo Account that made the purchase.

You can also view your Nintendo Account purchase history and any promotional or bundled download codes included with your purchases online.

  1. Visit, and sign in to your Nintendo Account.

  2. From the profile settings, select Shop menu.

  3. Select Purchase History.

  4. A list of the transactions associated to your Nintendo Account will appear here.
