How to Play in TV Mode

Nintendo Switch allows for different play styles. You can play Nintendo Switch in handheld mode, tabletop mode, or TV mode.

TV mode allows you to play Nintendo Switch while the game or application is displayed on your television screen.

1. Connect the Nintendo Switch to a TV or monitor. In order to use the Joy-Con as wireless controllers they will need to be paired to the console.

2. Detach the Joy-Con controllers from the Nintendo Switch console. Always use the Joy-Con strap with the Joy- Con controllers while they are detached from the console. 

3. Set the Nintendo Switch system in its charging dock. 

4. Start your game or application.
