How to Enable/Disable Automatic Save-Data Backups and Downloads

Instructions on how to enable or disable the automatic save data backup and automatic save data download features on the Nintendo Switch console.

Important:

• A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to use Save Data Cloud.

• By default, automatic save data backup will be enabled from the time you start your Nintendo Switch Online membership.

• Automatic save data downloads must be enabled separately on each Nintendo Switch console you wish to use.

• Not all software supports these features.

Automatic Save-Data Backup

1. From the HOME Menu, select "System Settings" > "Data Management" > "Save Data Cloud".

2. Select the desired user, then select "Settings".

3. Select "Automatically Back Up Save Data" to enable this feature. Tap this option again to turn the feature off.

Automatic Save-Data Download

1. From the HOME Menu, select "System Settings" > "Data Management" > "Save Data Cloud".

2. Select the desired user, then select "Settings".

3. Select "Automatically Download Save Data" to enable this feature. Tap this option again to turn the feature off.
