How to Access Your Nintendo eShop Account Information

Instructions on accessing your Nintendo eShop Account Information on Nintendo Switch.

Complete these steps:

  1. Select Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu to launch the Nintendo eShop.

  2. If there are multiple user accounts on your system, select the account you want to use.

  3. Select your icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.

  4. The following options are available:

    • Current balance: View your current balance, add funds.

    • Current points: Displays the My Nintendo Gold Points that you currently have available to use towards a purchase.

    • Credit Card Information: View information about your stored credit card (last 4 digits and card expiration date) and/or delete the saved credit card.

    • PayPal account: View information about your linked PayPal account (partial e-mail) and/or unlink the PayPal account from your Nintendo Account.

    • Payment method for automatic renewal and pre-order payments: Set the desired payment method (credit card, PayPal, or available funds) for the payment of your subscriptions, passes, memberships, or pre-orders.

    • Password-Entry Settings: Choose to skip or require a password when accessing the Nintendo eShop with your account, using stored credit card information, or using a linked PayPal account to make a digital purchase.

Important:

If you choose not to require a password, your funds and account information will be accessible by other people who use your Nintendo Switch console. You can adjust this setting at any time while you’re in the Nintendo eShop.

  • Choose to skip or require a password when accessing Nintendo eShop with your account, using saved credit card information, or using a linked PayPal account to make a purchase.

  1. Primary Console: Verify whether the current console is the primary console for your Nintendo Account, and deregister it if desired.

  2. Wish List: View or remove Nintendo eShop items in your Wish List.

  3. Redownload: Redownload your previous digital purchases.

  4. Nintendo Switch Online: Verify the status of your Nintendo Switch Online membership, and adjust auto-renewal settings.

  5. Pass Settings: Verify the status of your other subscriptions and passes, and adjust auto-renewal settings as applicable.

  6. Pre-Orders: Manage or cancel your pre-orders anytime before payment has been collected.
