Additional Information:

While updating software via Local Users, this error code can be displayed if the software update data has become corrupt.

What to Do:

  1. Update the software data via local users again.

Is the error code still displayed?

  2. On the console with the latest software version (the source console), check for corrupt data.

Depending on the system menu version, a system update may be required for this option to become available.

    Complete These Steps:

    1. From the HOME Menu, select "System Settings."

    2. Scroll down the options on the left and select "Data Management."

    3. On the right-hand side select "Manage Software," then select the software you would like to check.

    4. Select "Check for Corrupt Data."

  3. If the software data on the source console is corrupt, archive it, then redownload the software along with the update data.

    • Downloadable software can be archived in order to free up space.

    • Once archived, you can redownload the software by selecting the software icon on the HOME Menu.

    • Archiving software will not impact your save data.

A system update is required for some of these features to be available.

      Complete These Steps:

    1. From the HOME Menu, select “System Settings” > “Data Management” > “Manage Software.”

    2. Select the software title you would like to archive, then select “Archive Software” > "Archive."

Situation Not Resolved:

If the issue persists, connect the console to the Internet and update the software manually.
