2 August 2023

This month on Nintendo Switch, get your skates on, pull on some multicoloured spandex, shake your arms to the music and more! Check out this selection of games launching in August, and don’t forget to click on any that catch your eye for pre-orders, purchases or adding to your Wish List.

WrestleQuest – 8th August

Powerbomb your way into the ultimate pro wrestling adventure! In a universe where RPG fantasy collides with professional wrestling, become a world champ by training, learning, glamming and slamming your way to the top. Wild realms, exotic monsters, action figure fighters, and spandexed allies await as this fantasy goes beyond the ring!

Moving Out 2 – 15th August

Moving Out is back and wackier than ever! Return to the city of Packmore and use your moving skills across brand new dimensions and some old favourites, helping the residents relocate in the most chaotic way possible. Plus, there's not only the same local co-op multiplayer of the original, but the sequel also has cross-play online craziness for up to four players!

Vampire Survivors – 17th August

Hell is empty, the devils are here, and there's no place to run or hide. Fend off the increasingly powerful monsters with your auto-firing weapons, then move to dodge their attacks as they approach. Collect gems to level up your hero, choose which upgrades to take and try to make it to the 30-minute time limit. Then pick a new hero and do it all again!

Blasphemous 2 – 24th August

Awakened in a strange new land and displaced from his final resting place, The Penitent One is thrust back into the endless cycle of life, death, and resurrection. With a story that continues from the Wounds of Eventide update for the original Blasphemous, new weapons, enemies and more await for those who dare to venture in.

Sea of Stars – 29th August

Embark on a journey of peril and wonder as a Solstice Warrior, in this turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. A rich adventure awaits featuring dozens of characters and story arcs, unshackled traversal across a sprawling world map, engaging combat with combo attacks, damage types and magic, plus plenty of other things to do like sailing, fishing and more.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central – 30th August

Get up and shake it with Amigo and friends! It's time for an all-new Samba de Amigo, a musical rhythm game that allows you to party around the world. Pick up your maracas and groove to 40 hit songs from many popular genres, with more arriving as DLC. Play locally with friends in various party modes, or go online and show the world what you've got!

Of course, there are plenty more games coming to Nintendo Switch this month!
