The Game Boy Advance classics have been rebuilt from the ground up, featuring all the gameplay of the originals with the added ability to challenge your friends online!
Tackle strategic, turn-based missions as you manouevre land, air and naval units. Take down enemy squads, capture bases, and fight to restore peace.
Choose your Commanding Officer
Each CO affects your units in different ways, and they each possess a unique ability that can turn the tide of battle. Do you like to go toe-to-toe, or engage from a distance? Choose the CO that best complements your playstyle!
Gather your resources
Use your infantry to capture buildings, increasing your income each turn, allowing you to buy more powerful units.
Plan your attack
Manoeuvre your units, taking advantage of terrain and your opponent’s weaknesses to assert control.
Go for victory!
Defeat all the enemy forces or capture their HQ to claim victory!
Two classic campaigns
Enrol in the Orange Star army, honing your strategies in Advance Wars’ campaign mode as you repel the Blue Moon, Green Earth and Gold Comet armies. Then, take the fight to the ruthless Sturm and the Black Hole Army in Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising.
In both campaigns, you can fast-forward gameplay and rewind your turns for a smoother tactical experience.
Test your mettle in the War Room
Take on a host of different challenges, using any strategy or CO you like. Depending on your score you’ll earn coins to unlock more COs and extra challenges. Aim for those coveted S Ranks!
Friendly fire!
Fight it out with up to three of your friends in local multiplayer, or battle them online in one-on-one competition to see who comes out on top.
Devise your own challenges
Get creative with custom maps in the Design Room! Construct mountainous battlefields where aircraft are key, or put your naval prowess to the test with a watery combat zone. Share your creations with your friends to see if they can rise to the challenge!
