Account Executive

Job Description

Recognised in our sector by an extensive, reputable history and broad product range, Nintendo Australia now requires an Account Executive to join our Sales department on a full-time basis to support and foster established relationships with our retailers.

Reporting to the Assistant Sales Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to achieve maximum sales, catalogue and shelf space for all nominated accounts as well as the attainment of budgeted sales forecasts. Key requirements for the role include:

  • Demonstrating professional and effective working relationships with your accounts.

  • Achieving sales forecasts and working within designated budgets.

  • Demonstrating effective negotiation, planning and execution skills with retailers.

  • Reviewing & managing the customer’s inventory and replenishment levels on a weekly basis.

  • Assisting in providing product and sales forecasting on a monthly basis to the Assistant Sales Manager.

  • Reviewing and monitoring existing accounts for development opportunities & propose to Assistant Sales Manager.

  • Working closely with Sales Coordinators to ensure all orders, allocations, forecasts and claims are processed in a timely manner.

  • Planning and executing promotional activity with your accounts to maximise sell-thru and exposure within approved expenditure levels.

To succeed in the role, you will require:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an Account Executive role or similar (highly beneficial).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in vendor negotiation.

  • Must be highly organised and possess strong administrative skills.

  • Experience in managing, calculating and reporting financial sales ledgers.

  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office suite.
