If you see something you like, just tap the icon to venture inside and discover what’s on offer for your theme of choice. You may find exclusive video content to enjoy on your Nintendo 3DS or detailed information on both downloadable and retail software for your system. The contents are updated on a regular basis so check back often to see what’s new!

You can also find software via a scrolling bar of popular keywords or by entering your own on the on-screen keyboard. A number of Search Filters such as price are available, and you can sort your results by date or popularity. Then simply tap a title to find out more about it.

Depending on the title, you can view screenshots and videos or check user ratings. If you found what you’re looking for, just tap PURCHASE SOFTWARE or DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE and you’ll be playing before you know it.

The Add to Watch List feature lets you store the title in your Watch List for easy access later. If the title isn’t available yet, adding it to your Watch List ensures you’ll be notified via Nintendo eShop notifications when it’s released.

Nintendo 3DS download software is a brand new kind of software that’s only available through Nintendo eShop. You can find useful applications and fully fledged games at various prices – some even for free!

Among the titles on offer you will also find the 3D Classics series, a selection of classic games fully remastered in 3D.

Note: if you already own a Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi™ XL system and have previously purchased Nintendo DSiWare you can transfer most of your Nintendo DSiWare software to your Nintendo 3DS.

The price of Nintendo eShop software is conveniently displayed in actual currency. Before you can purchase software you’ll need to add funds to your Nintendo eShop account, either by using a credit card or a Nintendo eShop Card.

Nintendo eShop cards can be purchased at retail and come in two values: $15 or $30. Each card contains a code you can enter in Nintendo eShop to add funds to your account.

You can restrict the use of credit cards and purchasing of content using the Nintendo 3DS system’s Parental Control feature.

Nintendo Points Cards for the Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop can’t be used in Nintendo eShop.
