Nintendo announces that from 28 October 2010, Wii(TM), available in black or white, will come packaged with Wii Sports(TM) Resort, the new Wii Remote(TM) Plus and all for the same great value price of SRP AU $299.95.

Wii will still include the original Wii(TM) Sports game and Nunchuk(TM), but the original Wii Remote(TM) will be replaced with the brand new Wii Remote Plus.

Available at no additional cost, the Wii Sports Resort pack will give players access to 15 different sports!

The beach themed Wii Sports Resort takes the fun and intuitive controls of the original Wii Sports to the next level with a set of entertaining and physically immersive activities. Players can cruise on a water scooter, duel with swords, toss flying discs to a cute Mii-like dog and much more, and all with the deep control enhancements of Wii MotionPlus(TM) functionality.

Wii Remote Plus is the original Wii Remote, with Wii MotionPlus functionality built in!The Wii MotionPlus accessory was released in June 2009 to give players new levels of precision and performance when used with specially designed games such as Wii Sports Resort.

The classic Wii Sports features five distinct sports experiences with tennis, basketball, golf, bowling and boxing. Players use their own Mii caricatures in the game and play them against their friends' Miis for a more personalised experience. As players improve, their Miis' skill levels will increase, so they can see exactly how much better they've become.

Previously Wii Sports Resort retailed for SRP AU $99.95 with Wii MotionPlus included.

Wii Remote Plus will also be available to purchase on its own from 28 October 2010 for SRP AU $69.95 and comes in pink, blue, black and white.

Also new for Wii will be the Classic Controller Pro(TM), available from 3 November 2010. For the first time, players can purchase Classic Controller Pro on its own in black or white for SRP AU $34.95.

Classic Controller Pro was previously only available in black when purchased with Monster Hunter® Tri for Wii.
