Pokémon Crystal is the latest instalment in the Pokémon Gold and Silver series, featuring numerous extras and graphical updates for the Game Boy Color. Seven years after Ash collected all 8 badges and became the Kanto-league champion, a new Pokémon trainer starts the quest to become the Johto League champion.
In the Crystal Version you can now choose to play as either a young boy or girl trainer. This time around there is even more to do and more Pokémon mysteries to uncover. 16 badges and hundreds of hidden Pokémon to catch is just the beginning. When you think youve got what it takes, test your skills in the all new Battle tower. This is the ultimate Pokémon challenge for expert trainers, and is only available in the Crystal Version. Other areas of the game have been further enhanced over the Gold and Silver Versions too, like the notorious Ice Path to Blackthorn City. Pokémon Crystal is the first Pokémon adventure designed for the Game Boy Color and is the most advanced version in the Pokémon series. It is well suited from the beginner to the most experienced Pokémon trainer.
