Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is a remake of the classic Super Nintendo adventure. Players control different coloured Yoshi's who carry Mario to his destination on their backs via a relay system. For the first time, players take full control of Yoshi, whose abilities are quite different from the Mario Bros. Yoshi can stomp, float, spit items, target enemies and shoot out eggs. These new control elements make the third Super Mario Advance game refreshingly new and different from the first two Super Mario Advance titles.
Yoshi's Island is a huge adventure, with 6 worlds and over 50 levels to complete. Players will be entertained by the all-new gameplay style, with many puzzles, challenges and big bosses to defeat along the way.

- Yoshi's Island is a very diverse paradise with rich and vibrant locales, such as jungles, swamps, caves, grasslands and castles to explore.
- The graphic style used is very original and unique, creating
a very different look to previous Super Mario Advance games.
- Amazing special effects are used, such as 360 degrees of
scrolling, explosions, translucent colours, scaling and rotation
that makes bosses and objects grow to huge sizes right before
your eyes.
- Yoshi's Island offers high quality visuals and a distinct graphics style that give the game a special “story
book” feel to it.

- Yoshi's Island offers a refreshingly new style of Mario Bros. adventure, with enemy- swallowing, ground-stomping and egg-flinging action aplenty.
- Using Yoshi, players must protect Baby Mario on their back
from Bowser’s henchmen who are hunting him down. If Baby Mario falls into the clutches of the enemy, Yoshi must quickly use his tongue to fire eggs at them to get him back.
- Following the usual style of platform adventure, players
must make it through various levels, surviving traps and pitfalls,
defeating numerous enemies and big bosses and avoiding other
dangers along the way.
Using
his tongue Yoshi can swallow just about anything and turn
it into an egg. Using a unique targeting system, Yoshi can
fire eggs to destroy enemies, collect hard-to-reach items
and activate secret mysteries.
- Controlling Yoshi offers a brand new challenge to players and makes for a more challenging adventure. Yoshi's new abilities may take some getting used to.
- Using Yoshi's new abilities, players can solve puzzling situations, uncover secret items and areas and complete more challenging tasks.
- Yoshi's Island offers a highly enjoyable experience to gamers of all ages. Beginners can play through at their own pace. Experts will work hard to find all of the hidden items to unlock all of the extras.

- The game features some of catchiest Mario tunes yet.
- Different music suits the different locales of Yoshi's Island, with ominous and echoing music for the caves, happy beats for the grasslands and jungle rhythms for the jungle.
