Tony Hawk is back with twelve of his best pro skater buddies to tear up the streets with all-new tricks and levels for the ultimate in portable skating action.

Four-player multiplayer is a great new feature. Another highlight is the all-new create-a-skater option in which players can create their own skater.

The game contains six massive levels based on the GameCube version with a near limitless supply of bars to grind, stairs to jump, half-pipes to launch off and objectives to complete. There are also pedestrians to harass, construction sites to rip up and police to pester. For first-time skaters there is a new tutorial mode, which teaches all the “ins” and “outs” of professional skating.

Up to 4 players can skate it out in true multiplayer fashion with 5 multiplayer modes available, including:

  • Trick Attack – Compete to get the highest score in the time limit.
  • Tag – The player with the lowest score in the first 10 seconds is “it”. Players must then pull off tricks to slow the other players down so they can tag them. The skater who is ‘it” for the longest loses.
  • King of the Hill – Find the crown and keep it from the other skaters as long as possible. Bump into the king to steal his crown. Holding the crown for the nominated amount of time to win.
  • Free Skate - Just have fun doing your own thing.
  • Horse – Compete in rounds to earn the most points. The loser of each round earns a letter to spell HORSE (or whatever word you choose).
Multiplayer requires up to 3 GBA Game Link cables and that every player has a Game Boy Advance and a copy of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3.
1-4 players can compete in a game of Horse using only one Game Boy Advance. Players earn a score, then swap the Game Boy Advance around to compete for bragging rights.
