Mickey and Minnie as they team up for a magical adventure as they
try to rescue their pal Pluto from the clutches of the evil Emperor
Pete.
The adventure begins when Pluto disappears and
Goofy runs off to find him, leaving Mickey all alone. Mickey fears
the worst, knowing that Goofy is more likely to get lost himself
rather than to find Pluto. As he runs off in search of his friends,
Mickey meets a friendly magician who tells him that Pluto has
been dog-napped by the evil Emperor Pete. Mickey and Minnie cannot
leave their favourite pooch in the hands of such a fiend, so they
set out to rescue their loyal pal.
Throughout the adventure Mickey and Minnie travel
through many different worlds, each with its own dangers and hazards.
To help them on their way, a friendly Magician bestows upon them
special suits, each with powerful abilities. There is the Magicians
Suit, the Fireman Suit and the Mountain Climber Suit. With the
help of these suits, and their brave determination to rescue Pluto,
Mickey and Minnie set off on a truly magical adventure.
This is one of the first games to feature connectivity
between GBA and GCN. Players can connect to Disney’s Magical
Mirror Starring Mickey Mouse on GameCube to trade special items.
- 4 mini-game challenges are available for 1-2 players simultaneously
using only 1 Game Pak. Multiplayer games include:
- Normal Battle: Race over clouds and blocks in the skies
to reach the finish line first.
- Fireman Battle: Don the Fireman Suit and hose down treasure
boxes to collect the most “loot” and win.
- Wizard Battle: With the powers of the Wizard Suit, blast
flying enemies and collect the most coins in 2 minutes to
win.
- Climber Battle: Using the grappling abilities of the Climber
Suit, race up a mountain to reach the finish line first.
- Multiplayer requires 2 Game Boy Advance units, a GBA Game
Link cable and a single Game Pak.
