Golden
Sun is an exciting accomplishment as never before has such an
in-depth Role Playing Game been seen on a hand-held system.
The world is on the verge of a cataclysm of apocalyptic proportions.
Evil forces seek to unleash the most terrible power of magic upon
the world. Against all odds, a young hero and his companions must
stop them and avert this horrible fate. With teamwork, bravery,
devastating magical attacks, fine weaponry and by summoning the
power of magical creatures known as “Djinn”, the hero
and his companions must win the race against evil to prevent the
destruction of their world.
Golden Sun is a classic turn-based Role Playing Game (RPG) that
gives the player control over a team of up to 4 heroes, each with
their own distinct magical power. Golden Sun is an incredible
journey spanning two continents, with an epic storyline that will
draw players into the adventure of a lifetime.

- Golden Sun showcases the significant graphical capabilities
of the Game Boy Advance. All aspects of the game’s visuals
are of the highest quality. From the vivid use of colours, to
the smooth animations, Golden Sun is a visual treat.
- The characters themselves are very detailed, even down to little effects such as blowing hair and blinking eyes.
- The most impressive aspect of Golden Sun is the battle sequences. Using the zoom and scaling capabilities of the Game Boy Advance the camera spins around and zooms in on the various characters in the heat of battle.
- When attacking an enemy, lighting and particle effects explode onto the screen in rich detail and colour, creating a stunning fireworks display.

- Golden Sun returns to the good old days of Role Playing Games,
with a massive world to explore, many people to meet and help,
and hordes of enemies to battle to strengthen your skills.
- By battling monsters, players build up experience points to make them more powerful and learn new magic attacks and abilities. Players can also summon help, in the form of huge Fire Beasts, Ice Maidens, Thunder Gods, Dragons, and many more.
- The two continents of Gondowan and Angara are both vast and detailed. Players will face numerous challenges as they explore forests, oceans, mountain, deserts, hidden islands and mysterious elemental lighthouses.
- Throughout the journey players will be required to help various people in different situations. Whether it be rescuing a lost friend, helping townspeople rid their village of monsters, or competing in a Roman Gladiator style tournament; Golden Sun offers many different challenging and original scenarios.
- With so much to do, see, learn, investigate, seek and conquer, this game provides an outstanding level of gameplay.

- Golden Sun features a fully orchestrated soundtrack, with
a range of highly atmospheric musical scores.
- The sound sets the mood perfectly; creating tension, excitement, fear and relief with every emotion in between.
- To accompany the orchestral music, crystal clear sound effects such as splashing waterfalls, wind blowing through trees and birds chirping contribute to a distinct sense of realism.
