Rocky Balboa is back on the streets, ready to become king of the ring once more. Following his outstanding movie based boxing career, fans will finally be able to step into the shoes of the man himself and fulfill their passion for glory.

This game is the answer to any Rocky fans dream! All of the favourite ‘Rocky’ characters make an appearance, such as the determined Apollo Creed, the brutal Clubber Lang and the steroid monolith Ivan Drago. The extensive ‘Movie Mode’ will see players take control of the fearless Italian stallion Rocky Balboa and trace his steps through his heroic journey, as he batters, bruises and bashes every opponent in his path.

Rocky features high quality movie-like graphics, authentic music and character models, realistic facial damage, cut scenes directly from the movie, reactive crowds and all of the epic title bouts Rocky is famous for.

Family and friends will be able to go toe-to-toe controlling their favourite bruisers and see who really has the ‘eye of the tiger’.

  • Rocky hits the GameCube in outstanding fashion, with heavyweight graphics that do the franchise justice.
  • Highly detailed character models of Rocky, Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago and Tommy Gunn that look almost as good as their real life counterparts.
  • There is a great sense of realism, with real-time damage to the boxers’ face and body. Near the end of a brutal fight the players faces will be badly bruised, bleeding and their body obviously weary.
  • Some of the best 3D crowd models ever seen add greatly to the realism and atmosphere as they react to the fight by booing and throwing bottles, or chanting “Rocky, Rocky” as you go for the KO.
  • Well presented cut-scenes and movie footage between fights set the story.
  • Cinematic character entrances with fanfare, floats and each characters manager and trainers.

  • Rocky has a quick and easy control system to pick up.
  • An extensive movie mode that retraces Rocky’s epic journey across all five movies, with all of the major title fights.
  • Help Rocky train by perfecting your skills in different training modes, such as speedball, skipping, sit-ups and even punching slabs of meat at the meatworks.
  • Learn new and powerful combos on the road to becoming world champion. Combo moves work for every character, so your skills will work with whoever you use.
  • Each character has his own different super special move, which is capable of knocking an opponent out in one punch.
  • Once you have completed the movie mode you will unlock the special Knockout Tournament in which you can choose any character you’ve unlocked and conquer any one in your path to win trophies.
  • Three different difficulty settings novice, intermediate and expert.
  • Compete against family and friends in the ultimate boxing experience.

  • Classic Rocky Themed entrance music for all characters builds an exciting atmosphere that will pump fighters up before the bout.
  • Extremely realistic bone-crunching sound effects will make players feel every jarring punch.
  • Crowds react to matches by booing slow bouts and dirty tactics and cheer and chant your name when you start some nice combos to set your opponent up for the knockout punch.
