Bizarre murder cases are being reported all over Racoon City, with outlandish reports of people being attacked by large gangs! Victims were apparently eaten. The S.T.A.R.S (Special Tactics and Rescue Squad) Bravo team has been sent into the forest on the outskirts of Racoon City to investigate but have mysteriously disappeared overnight.
 S.T.A.R.S operatives Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, along with the rest of Alpha team have been sent to investigate the disappearance of the Bravo team. Their mission is to investigate the ominous mansion in the heart of the woods, uncover the hideous secrets behind the mysterious genetic research facility and survive long enough to make it out alive.
With an entirely new gameplay experience for the GameCube, players will face sheer terror as they uncover terrifying secrets, solve hair-raising mysteries and survive blood thirsty zombies and other unspeakable horrors that wait around nearly every turn.
