 
Intrepid Space Adventurer Captain Olimar is in peril. A meteor
has struck his spaceship and sent it hurtling into the atmosphere
of a strange and unfamiliar planet. His ship has broken into 30
pieces, which are scattered all over the alien landscape. With
only 30 days to recover all of the missing pieces before his life
support system fails, Captain Olimar must act quickly.
Luckily he discovers strange plant like creatures
that follow him everywhere and obey his commands. These Pikmin
may just be his ticket off the planet and his one glimmering hope
to see his family again. Captain Olimar must use the Pikmin to
overcome various obstacles such as water, chasms, rock barriers
and a fearsome array of bizarre monsters.

(creator of Mario, Donkey Kong, and the Legend of Zelda) Pikmin
offers the most original, imaginative and strategically involving
game experience seen on this or any other planet.
 
- Pikmin comes very close to visually creating a living, breathing world. The shadows change with the passing of the sun, the flowers sway gently in the breeze and puddles of water glisten in the morning sun.

be moved from a wasteland of fire and water, to a soft, serene
forest environment. The environments look amazing, painted
with lush textures creating a realistic and atmospheric environment.

Some fall over, others hide scared in the corner, while others run bravely into battle without your order and rely on you to rescue them.
