Wario and the Diamond City gang are back in a collection of all-new games that show off the versatility and unique capabilities of the Wii U console. Using only the Wii U GamePad, up to five players can take turns competing in games filled with the eccentric spirit of the WarioWare series.
The varied games on offer in Game & Wario each use the GamePad in unique and surprising ways. Check out a few of the wacky experiences that await you in the final game!
It’s all-out nasal warfare in this single-player game. Wield a moustache-shaped bow that fires nose-tipped arrows and defend a crop of precious strawberries from oncoming robot attack. Use the touch screen to draw back an arrow, aim using the GamePad’s motion sensors and let the bolt fly! If the oncoming rush of enemies gets past your defences and storms the GamePad, tap them on the touch screen to stop them stealing your strawberries.
Hold the GamePad vertically and tilt it left or right to steer a skier down a slippery slope in this single-player game. Use the overhead view on the GamePad’s built-in screen to ski in style while spectators watch your flashy moves on the big screen.
In this single-player game, criminals are on the loose and it's up to you to catch them in the act! As the big screen shows the complete scene, the Wii U GamePad acts like a telephoto lens: hold the GamePad up to the TV and it becomes your viewfinder. Line up your subject for the perfect photo!
Up to five players can take turns in this competitive multiplayer game. One player uses the GamePad to control a thief trying to steal away four apples while blending in with a crowd of similar looking characters. Four other players watch the big screen and must use their wits and subtle clues to try to deduce which character is the thief. But these players are competing too: will they work together to split the reward or try to mislead each other and steal it all for themselves?
